Late Jack Taylor strike earns Barnet first win of the season

Barnet snatched their first win of the season as Jack Taylor’s last-gasp strike sank Chesterfield 1-0 at the Proact Stadium.
Taylor fired a left-footed effort into the top corner from the edge of the area to settle a game which had seen both sides squander chances.
The visitors threatened early on when Callum Burton did well to keep out Charlee Adams’ rising effort as it headed for the top corner.
Chesterfield hit back as Robbie Weir saw a volley tipped over by Mark Cousins before Michael Nelson headed just wide from Laurence Maguire’s free-kick, while the second-half saw Chesterfield go close from a goalmouth scramble.
