AFC Fylde end Maidenhead’s winning run

Maidenhead’s brave run of three successive Vanarama National League wins came to an end with a 2-1 defeat at AFC Fylde.
However, the Magpies stunned the home following as early as the 10th minute, as Ryan Upward angled in a deft cushioned volley from 15 yards over the dive of Jay Lynch.
Fylde fought back superbly. Danny Rowe ensured he remained at the top of the divisional scoring charts with his 23rd of the season from Alex Reid’s cut-back.
The Coasters then forged in front in the second half when a corner was cleared out to Tom Crawford and he calmly bent the ball into the bottom corner.
