Joey Jones struck a stunning late winner as Eastleigh boosted their National League play-off hopes with a 3-2 win at Chesterfield.
Jones let fly from distance with seven minutes remaining to move the Spitfires to within one point of the top seven.
The home side went ahead in the 32nd minute when Haydn Hollis, on loan from Forest Green, bundled in his first goal for the club.
Red-hot striker Paul McCallum levelled for Eastleigh a minute before the break, converting Chris Zebroski’s cross at the back post – his eighth goal in seven games and 22nd of the season.
Chesterfield regained the lead two minutes into the second half as Scott Boden met Ellis Chapman’s cross to claim his 15th goal of the campaign.
Andrew Boyce pulled Eastleigh level for a second time in the 59th minute before Jones’ wonder strike won it for the visitors.
