SOUNDBITE: (English) Oussama Mellouli, 10-kilometre swim gold medallist:
"Yeah, thank God. I mean it's been really tough for me, you know, these last couple of years but to come back here and win that bronze medal in the 1500 (metres) and then come back and win the 10 (Kilometre) is truly and incredible achievement that I'm really proud of. Yeah, like you said, it's never been done before and this is the first time that a swimmer does this double - and comes up with a podium in both those tough, tough races. It's just unbelievable, unbelievable achievement."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Oussama Mellouli, 10-kilometre swim gold medallist:
"Like I said, i don't think I can top this. After my gold in the 1500 in Beijing, to come back here and win a gold in the 1500 and then another gold in the 10k, arguably one of the toughest events in the Olympics: So, I don't think i can top it. I'm the happiest man in the world."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Thomas Lurz, 10-kilometre swim silver medallist:
"Yeah, it was a really, really fast speed - the last two laps. Oussama Mellouli pushed very hard. I knew that he is fast from the pool results. He was pretty good in the 1500 so I knew that he would be fast. I hoped that he had pushed too early for the finish but he made it right and he deserved the victory."
