SOUNDBITE (English) David Boudia, U.S. Gold Medal-Winning Diver:
"It was absurdly close going into the last round. You know, what's interesting about this event is, the finals I had no idea where I was placed throughout the competition, I didn't look at the scoreboard if I was first, second, third or 12th, so going in to the last dive I had no idea it was point-something for the gold medal and after doing that dive I went over to my coach and you know I could tell, on his face that it was good, it was going to be close but I had no idea that I was potentially gonna win a gold medal until ... it was so surreal, it still feels like a dream, that moment."
SOUNDBITE (English) David Boudia, U.S. Gold Medal-Winning Diver:
"In prelims at the Olympic Games I was 18th, barely making it in the semifinals and then, you know, 24 hours later I was on the top of the awards stand and that was, it was, prelims I was totally tense, clenching, the next day I was totally relaxed and you could see the outcome that way."
