  • Argentina's Renzo Olivo defeated top seed Philipp Kohlschreiber in three sets to reach the semi-finals of the German Open in Hamburg on Friday. Plus all the action from the other three quarter-finals

    Top seed Philip Kohlscreiber was eliminated from the Hamburg Open in today's quarter finals.

    Kohlschreiber looked on course for an easy victory when he thrashed Renzo Olivo in the opening set.

    But it was all change in the second as the South American found his range and went onto win 1-6, 6-0, 7-5

    Third seed Pablo Cuevas also made it through to the semi-finals,

    Cuevas eventually edged a tight first set against Paul-Henri Mathieu on the tie break

    The Uruguayan only lost a single game in the second though, closing out for a 7-6, 6-1 victory .

    Guillermo Garcia-Lopez was another casualty, losing 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 to Stephane Robert.

    After the first set went to tiebreak Robert eventually proved the better of the pair, taking the third set and with it a spot in the semi's

    Awaiting Robert is Martin Klizan - he comfortably defeated Daniel Gimeno-Traver 6-4, 6-3 and moves step nearer to an ATP World Tour 500 series title.
