He Could End up Costing €46 Million - Valencia swat Liverpool's Parejo hopes

Liverpool's interest in Daniel Parejo has been met with a fierce response from Valencia. The Reds snapped up the 'Los Che' youngster Pedro Chirivella last season and are on the verge of poaching another in the form of Fran Villalba, leaving the Spanish club up in arms with the Anfield outfit.
This time, Valencia are not prepared to sit back and accept Parejo's buy-out clause, set at €25 million. There has even been talk of the player being the one to pay it, which would generate higher taxes for the purchasing club, making for a total of €46 million.
It is not a question of playing hardball with Parejo, who has not made any declarations, but with Liverpool.
