Man United fans are disappointed not to see two players start

Manchester United have named a strong team to face Reading in the FA Cup – and their fans aren’t entirely pleased about it. The club are on a seven-game winning streak and are 13 games unbeaten in all competitions. Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been key players in that run and both were rested for Saturday’s early kick-off.
But there wasn’t enough rotation to satisfy the majority of United fans. Why wasn’t Michael Carrick rested for this game? Why didn’t Bastian Schweinsteiger start in his place or in the place of Fellaini? This would have been a great opportunity to give the German veteran his first start of the season but Mourinho has passed it up.
Supporters were also disappointed to see that Timothy Fosu-Mensah was on the bench yet again. One of the best prospects at the club, the defender broke into the team under Louis van Gaal last season. His impressive form and composure made him a force to be reckoned with. However, he’s only played 149 minutes in all competitions this term. And where is Luke Shaw? Is his prolonged absence due to his poor relationship with Mourinho?
