Salford go third with victory over Harrogate

Salford moved up to third in the National League after extending their unbeaten run to six matches with a 1-0 victory at Harrogate.
A second-half penalty from Devonte Redmond secured victory after Ryan Fallowfield had brought down Emmanuel Dieseruvwe in the area.
The hosts’ goalkeeper James Belshaw prevented them from falling further behind when Carl Piergianni twice threatened.
Harrogate’s second defeat in three, when a win would have taken them level with promotion rivals Salford, means they stay sixth.
