(Q: You've won the last two London marathons and posted your best times here. The course will be different on Sunday but do you think those experiences give you an edge?)

"I think that the place we are competing is different to the other one ( London marathon) but I think no problem because if I've trained, if we have trained well as a team I think we will compete well no problem."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Mary Keitany:

(Q: British favourite and world record holder Paula Radcliffe if unable to compete due to injury. What do you make of this?)

"I think I'm sad because of that news that Paula Radcliffe. So I'm very sorry and I'm saying sorry to her because I would have been happy if I was to compete with her in this Olympic marathon so I'm really very sad."

(Q: Kenyan marathon running is hugely competitive at the moment. What would an Olympic gold medal mean to you?)

"I think we will be trying our best to compete (for medals) on Sunday and I think we will be happy if we get a medal for our country and also I will be happy if it will be me of course."
