SOUNDBITE (Mandarin): Huang Wanqing, Company Clerk:
"I think everyone is feeling sorry for him. When we saw him jumping with one leg out the field, we all think that he's already a great guy and he has done what he should."

SOUNDBITE (Mandarin): Cao Nan, Bank Clerk:
"I hope he can recover as soon as possible and even if he will not be an athlete any longer, he can still work hard to promote the sport he has been devoted to and let more Chinese get involved in this sport."

SOUNDBITE (Mandarin): Guan Yi, Social Worker:
"Whether it's acceptable to us or not, it has happened. Although it is not what we expected, we still can understand. I think he was suffering too much pressure. I just hope he can recover soon. I know how tough it is to be an athlete."
