Lee closed out the match 21-7, 21-17 and now faces Thai veteran Boonsak Ponsana in the final.

The hosts booked the final spot in women's singles when 27-year-old Eriko Hirose beat Thailand's Porntip Buranaprasertsuk in straight games 21-19, 21-13.

She'll meet Chinese Taipei teenager Tai Tzu Ying in the final.

In men's doubles, number seven seeds Kim Ki Jung and Kim Sa Rang of Korea finished off Japanese pairing of Hiroyuki Saeki and Ryota Taohata 21-9, 21-8 in just 24 minutes.
