Yixin Bao and Jinhua Tang of China took on Nitya Krishinda Maheswari and Greysia Polii of Indonesia in the women's doubles semi-final on Saturday.

The Indonesian pair edged the opening game 21-19.

But Bao and Tang , dominated the second game winning it 21-10 to level the tie.

Bao and Tang eventually won the final game at the end of a lengthy point.

The 19-21 21-10 21-19 score saw the Chinese pair reach their third final in three weeks.

Kenichi Tago of Japan faced Chong Wei Lee of Malaysia in the final match of the day on court one.

Wei Lee took the opening game 21-17 but faltered from there.

Tago took the second game 21-16 before powering through the final game to win through 17-21 21-16 21-12, and book his place in the final.
