    The town of Iten in western Kenya has unveiled the first-ever tartan track outside of the Kenyan capital Nairobi - and it was officially opened by some famous long-distance athletes, including double Olympic and double world champion Mo Farah and the women's marathon world record holder, Paula Radcliffe.

    "I think my message is, that it's about sport and it should never be about politics. It should be about everybody being included, nobody ever being excluded and about sport being the thing that brings everybody together whatever your background, whatever your orientation in life, then you should be able to compete on a fair and a level playing field with everybody else and should be welcomed."
