SOUNDBITE (English) Randhir Singh, International Olympic Committee member:
"It (India's suspension by the IOC) gave India very bad publicity, the Indian sportsmen suffered but on the other side it's been a good lesson for us. We have learnt that there's no way that you cannot any way defy the Olympic charter, you cannot defy the rules and regulations of the IOC (International Olympic Committee) and that the International Olympic Committee is a supreme body."
