So throw them together for Man United v Liverpool, a fixture that always stirs emotions, and sparks were bound to fly.
The two gaffers exchanged heated words on the touchline following an incident between Roberto Firmino and Ander Herrera.
Things could have got very tasty were it not for the fourth official acting as a human barrier...

Compared to Mourinho's relationship with some other managers around the world, the Special One and Klopp and have been practically best mates in the past.
Once the adrenaline wears off we're sure they'll patch things up but both sets of fans will have appreciated the display of passion in such a tense fixture.
