Hot favourites to take gold at the London Olympics, the US women's basketball team prepare to face GB women in a warm-up match in Manchester.
SOUNDBITE: (English) Candace Parker, USA Centre:
(on the pressure of having to win Olympic gold)
"I don't think we would have it any other way. I think all of us have played in our careers in pressue situations and honestly, it is just about going in there and focusing one game at a time. When you start looking forward and that is when pressure starts to effect you."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Diana Taurasi, USA Guard:
(on their short preparation time)
"Well it has always been one of the things that we have worried about the most. We don't get much preperation so everytime we get on the curt we have to make the most of it. We played last night and we have got a game tomorrow so you know, that helps us going into the Games."
SOUNDBITE: (English) Gino Auriemma, USA Women's Basketball Head Coach:
(on Australia as USA's top rivals)
"I think over the years the U.S and Australia have had a pretty good rivalry. Very spirited and I think losing to them in 2006 semi finals in 2006 still bothers some of the players that were in that game. And I think the fact that we played them in the finals in 2008 - the finals in 2000...it seems like it has been us and Australia for a long time."
